The Bite Cancer Foundation's main event is the Byron Center football program's Bite Cancer game. In the Bite Cancer game, Byron Center players forego their customary black jerseys to wear neon yellow jerseys adorned with a honoree's name on the back. The jerseys are then presented to the honoree or family members of the honoree during a post-game celebration. A large contingent of Byron Center fans can be seen wearing the neon yellow Bite Cancer t-shirts to celebrate the community battle against cancer. Other Byron Center Varsity teams partake in similar Bite Cancer events throughout the thee high school sport seasons.
